En una semana de sorpresas positivas, las órdenes de bienes durables de agosto cayeron 0,2% mensual, mientras la confianza del consumidor de Conference Board de septiembre mejoró al subir a 108 versus los 104,6 estimados Por su parte, la venta de viviendas nuevas de agosto aumentó 28,8% mensual, sorprendiendo al mercado (2,2%e), aunque los precios cayeron por primera vez en 10 años (0,6% mensual).
