Rate Times: Powell suggests caution as market expects cuts

Jerome Powell suggested in an interview that the Fed will take a more cautious stance on rate cuts, possibly waiting until after March to act. In line with December economic projections, the Fed is expected to make about three rate cuts this year. Despite a moderation in market expectations for rate cuts, nearly five 0.25% cuts are still expected by year-end, compared to the nearly seven expected a month ago.
